Welcome Note From Rick

I want to tell you a story. In 2020, I found myself in an interesting position. I was  unemployed and thinking it was time to take my career in a different direction. As anyone in the middle of a global pandemic, with a wife and three, soon to be four, kids would do, I picked up the phone and called an old friend who is an actor and told him I was seriously considering a career in the arts. I waited for laughter that never came and, instead, left that phone call with a roadmap of how someone with no acting training whatsoever might possibly, eventually, get their foot in the door. 

As crazy as that may sound, choosing to become an actor has turned into one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve faced endless rejection, crippling imposter syndrome, severe embarrassment and financial hardship. But, through it all, I’ve tasted success and found a vocation that fills me with joy and wonder, challenges me daily and introduces me to other creatives who remind me that what we’re doing is making the world a better place. I’ve never felt more excited and alive. I’ve found what I’ve always wanted to do.

And now that you’ve found my website, I want to share this journey with you. Here, you will find the clips of the TV and film work I’ve done as well as headshots and other promotional pictures.

Oh, and what about the wife and four kids? In addition to the world of acting, I also share stories about my family on my social media channels. All those links are included on my homepage. I hope you will check those out, too!  

I know I’m just beginning this journey, but I hope you will want to come along for the ride. I hope you might be inspired, delighted and, if nothing else, entertained. I’m excited to make new connections and pay back the help I’ve received along the way.
